Protocol Education are looking for teaching assistants or support workers that have experience with early years and certified in CACHE Level 2 in child care and education. Starting in September, this role will be working in a special needs school with outstanding facilities.

Successful candidates will working with early years children who have a range of disabilities that include hearing/visual impairments and speech and language difficulties. As a teaching assistant you will be required to support and help the development of students with special needs. As a teaching assistant you will will be required to encourage sensory play, communicate through sign language, differentiate the work to meet the students needs and create a fun & engaging learning environment for the students across all ages.

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Certified in CACHE Level 2 in child care and education
  • Experience working with early years children
  • Experience or an understanding of special needs
