Early Years Special Needs Assistant

Barnet

Do you enjoy working with young children?
Do you have experience working with children with complex special education needs and disabilities?
Would you like to work with an experienced and dynamic team?

An early years centre provides early intervention and assessment for children between 0-5 years of age who present with a wide range of complex special education needs and disabilities (SEND).

The role involves working with children and their families in their homes and at the assessment centre based in Barnet.

The team already comprises a tea leader, five teachers and two learning support assistants.

What we are looking for.
-Experience and highly motivated teaching assistant
-Experience working with children that have complex SEND
-NVQ or QCF level or equivalent qualifications are required


Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
