Early Years Special Needs Assistant

Do you have experience working with children with complex special education needs and disabilities?

Would you like to work with an experienced and dynamic team?

 

An early years centre provides early intervention and assessment for children between 0-5 years of age who present with a wide range of complex special education needs and disabilities (SEND).

 

The role involves working with children and their families in their homes and at the assessment centre based in Tower Hamlet.

 

The team already comprises a team leader, five teachers and two learning support assistants.

 

What we are looking for:

-          Highly motivated teaching assistant

-          Caring and kind

-          Cheerful and friendly

-          Willing to do personal care tasks

-          Able to follow tasks and instructions

 

Desirable Experience:

-          Experience working with children that have complex special education needs

-          Personal care

-          Manual handing and hoisting

-          Health checks and being able to monitor conditions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
