An Outstanding' school in the West London borough of Hillingdon is looking for SEND teaching assistants to join their team.
In this role you will be working with children who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and have recently joined the school in their Reception Classes. You will be an integral part of both the early years and SEND team, offering you the opportunity to join a supportive network of friendly and hardworking staff.
We are looking for people who have a pro-active, can do attitude and are willing to go the extra mile for the students they support. As part of the role you will be expected to take a lead on supporting students with activities and interventions in areas such as maths, phonics and literacy so it is essential that you are confident in this area. This can either be from a strong education background or experience working in a similar setting. Ideally you will also have experience of working with children who have ASD, in order to bring knowledge and effective strategies to support these students effectively.
This is an incredibly important role where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference, helping children to develop and achieve their full potential. In return for your hard work you will receive competitive rates of pay as well as the opportunity for continued professional development.
If this sounds like the role for you then please do get in touch ASAP as the school are looking to recruit for an immediate start after interview.
