Job description
We are looking for a Early Years Practitioner with experience working with Autism to join a friendly and driven outreach team within the borough of Newham.

The EY Practitioner will work as part of the Outreach team to provide a stimulating and caring environment for children diagnosed with Autism in a mainstream setting. Your job role is to help the full-time teacher to create a warm and friendly atmosphere in which the children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally through individual attention and group activities.

The team will work together to plan, prepare and bounce ideas off one another in order to try different learning techniques and strategies. These strategies are passed on to be implemented within the nurseries and primary schools.

The successful applicants will need:

- Ideally a minimum NNEB/CACHE, BTEC or NVQ in Childcare at Level 3, although a Level 2 qualification will be considered.
- Knowledge and experience of meeting the needs of different children.
- Excellent interaction skills and the ability to communicate clearly and simply
