Early Years Practitioner SEN Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Nursery/Pre School that deliver a range of exciting, creative and innovative specialist and inclusive services to children and young people with disabilities including those with complex physical and learning disabilities, communication disabilities such as autism and behaviors that can challenge.

We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner who:

•Holds an Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Childcare Qualification
•Experience of working with babies in an early years setting
•Knowledge and experience of Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
•Ideally have experience working in early years settings
•A willingness to work with and support babies who have high care and complex needs
•Have an awareness of the Children's Act 1989 and Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018 and frameworks such as EYFS
•Have excellent communication skills
•Have a positive non-judgmental approach

The role will require you to work with SEN and mainstream children.

We offer continuing opportunities for learning and development together with regular supervision and support including Team Teach.
