Early Years Practitioner looking for career progression
We are looking to recruit an experienced Early Years Educator who wants to progress towards a management position. We are working with a lovely Nursery in the Hillingdon area who are looking to employ someone with energy and passion and who has a real can-do attitude that they can support and offer career development with the potential to move into a management role for the right candidate.
The responsibilities include:
• Supporting the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager in the daily running and administration of the Nursery.
• Keep up-to-date with innovative ideas and trends for child care
• Supporting with staff ratios, waiting list management and ensuring the nursery is at full occupancy.
• Create strong links with parents. Providing Parents with the information, support and communication that is required
• Helping to oversee all planning, activities, preparation and outings
• Implementing and reinforcing the policies, procedures and processes
Experience & Skills Required/Desired:
• CACHE / NNEB/ NVQ level 3 or equivalent
• Experience of leading or managing a team
• Significant and recent experience of working with children aged 0 to 5 years.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Exceptional knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Health & Safety legislation
• Experience with the implementation of the OFSTED standards
• Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience working in a nursery
