Job description
Looking for an enthusiastic and caring Level 3 Nursery Nurse, who is able to provide physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Who is also able to support other personnel within the Nursery and implement the daily routine in the base rooms.

Must be motivated with high energy levels and stamina and have a positive outlook. In addition must be reliable, responsible, flexible and adaptable in your approach.

Duties and responsibilities:

Operate a programme of activities suitable to the age if children in your area in conjunction with staff.
Keep a proper record of achievement file on your key children for parents.
Work with parents of special needs children to give full integration in the nursery.
Support all staff and engage in great team work.
Liaise with and support parents and other family members.
To be involved in out of work hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, summer fares, Christmas party etc.
To be flexible within working practices of the nursery. Be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking certain domestic jobs with in the nursery, e.g. preparation of snacks and cleaning of equipment etc.
Look at the nursery on a whole, where can your help be most utilised, be constantly aware of the children.
To ensure the provision of a high quality environment to meet the needs of individual children form differing cultures and religious backgrounds and stages of development.


Nursery Nurse: 1 year (Preferred)
Level 3 NVQ (Required)
DBS Certificate (Require)
