Part time, Permanent (3 days a week 9am-5pm)

Job description: 

Protocol Education are currently working with a nursery setting based in Newham who are looking to add to their wonderful Nursery team. The Nursery is situated conveniently between several overground and underground stations and is 5 minutes away from East Ham station.

 Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun….

  • Assisting the facility in meeting OFSTED requirements, which will also benefit in the Childcare Apprenticeship.
  • Being a team player.
  • Standards or appropriate legal requirements as required within the childcare setting.
  • Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Hygiene requirements are always adhered to during the Childcare Apprenticeship.
  • Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery and management
  • Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
  • Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
  • Supporting children’s self-help needs.
  • Being creative and enthusiastic.

To be eligible for this role:

  •  You must have a valid in date DBS 
  •  Right to work in the UK
  •  Relevant experience supporting children including youth workers, support workers or tutors will be taken into consideration
  •  Be able to provide two professional or relevant educational references within the last three years.
