We currently have a opportunity for an Early Years Manager to join a unique nursery to help deliver a fun, safe and nurturing environment for children.

Job description

This nursery offers an inclusive service for both mainstream children, and those with special and complex needs. They are a unique nursery who caters for a very diverse community.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strong leadership and experience of creating an environment for academic success. The candidate will also have proven experience of leading teams and a clear commitment to inclusive education.
We are interested in people who have a passion for enabling greater opportunities for children with learning disabilities and their families throughout their lives.
The nursery deliver a range of exciting, creative and innovative specialist and inclusive services to children and young people with disabilities including those with complex physical and learning disabilities, communication disabilities such as autism and behaviours that can challenge.

About the role:
-You will manage the day to day operations of the nursery.
-You will manage the smooth and effective running of Ofsted registered inclusive services for children aged 0-5 years, some with significant special needs.
-The Early Years Manager will support the provision of activities and opportunities, which promote equality and full inclusion, giving respectful consideration to the children and their families from different cultural and diverse backgrounds.

The ideal candidate must:
-Hold a Level 6 Childcare or a recognisable childcare qualification(s)
-Have experience of working with young babies and upwards
-Experience of working with SEN and disabilities
-Be a strong team player with excellent leadership skills
-Understand safeguarding compliance
