Job description
A Leicester Primary School has an immediate need for an Early Years Teacher on an ongoing basis working 5 days a week. The school has a great reputation and provides a broad, balanced and creative curriculum across their early years groups.

As the Early Years Teacher you will be responsible for developing the potential of pupils in the classroom delivering a stimulating learning environment. You will match learning tasks to the age, ability and aptitude of pupils and lead a small group of learning assistants to assist you. You will assess, record and monitor progress and attainment of pupils and groups. It is hoped that you will develop qualities in young children including a sense of fairness, respect for others, honesty etc.

The school are looking to appoint a dynamic Early Years class teacher with enthusiasm to help drive the school in its journey to excellence. You will be a qualified teacher with experience of teaching early years groups and someone that is able to contribute towards the broader school community. You should have experience of working with phonics and have a creative and engaging teaching style.

The school will offer you a long term supply role that is likely to continue until the end of the 2017/2018 academic year working 5 days a week. It is hoped that in return for your hard work and results that there will be an opportunity to consider permanent employment.
