Early Years Educators

We’re looking for Level 3 qualified Early Years Educators to support Nursery and Reception classes in mainstream primary schools across Lewisham.

These are long-term roles where you’re part of the team, not just passing through.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting teaching and learning in Nursery and Reception

• Leading small group activities in phonics, early maths and continuous provision

• Helping children build confidence, routines and independence

• Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs

• Creating a warm, safe and engaging classroom environment

You’ll be in schools that understand Early Years isn’t “just play”. It’s foundations for life.

You must have:

• A full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification

• Experience working in Nursery or Reception

• A confident understanding of the EYFS framework

• A calm, nurturing approach

• Strong communication skills and team spirit

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
