Job description
My client, a large oversubscribed inner city school in Leicester, are currently looking for 2 EAL teachers to commence in the Autumn term.

The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching pupils with English as an additional language. The senior leadership team are aiming to put an alternative curriculum in place to ensure that all students are able to successfully integrate into mainstream secondary education - the position is likely to continue for the entire academic year.

Behaviour in the school can be challenging, so strong behaviour management skills are an absolute must. You will ideally hold a TELF/ESOL qualification, or have extensive experience in EAL teaching.

To be successful for this role you must have:

•Strong interpersonal skills.

•The ability to speak Punjabi, Urdu, or Gujrati (desirable)

•Sound behaviour management.

•The passion and drive to help the school and its students at a pivotal time
