A Primary School in Southall is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant that can help integrate learners with EAL in to their successful learning environment.
With a focus on community and diverse cultures, the school takes pride in their children and strongly believe that all learners have the ability to achieve. This is applicable to those that have English as an Additional Language, and the successful applicant needs to be able to support learners across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring that their language barriers do not impact on them accessing the National Curriculum.
The ability to speak a second language fluently will be hugely beneficial and the successful applicant will ideally be able to evidence recent work supporting students that have faced barriers because of their language and communication.
The school is extremely supportive of their staff and some training will be available for the successful applicant, if required.
