DT Technician Required for Bromley based Seconday School

A talented and enthusiastic DT Technician is urgently needed to join a successful team working in a high performing school in beautiful Bromley

This is an over-subscribed, 11-18 secondary school with a co-educational Sixth Form, located in the Borough of Bromley. We consistently achieve high academic success, whilst maintaining a commitment to educating the ‘whole child’ through the promotion of sport and the arts as part of a well-rounded curriculum.

The successful candidate will:

• Ensure the smooth running of practical support for the teachers in the DT department under the direction of the Head of Department

• Need to have an awareness of Health and Safety guidelines and have CAM experience and be COSHH trained

• Be responsible for ensuring tools and equipment including the dust extraction, is correctly sto red, reco rded and stacked/maintained, carrying o ut vario us administrative duties and being aware of potential Health and safety hazards in the classroom and preparing orders as agreed with the Head of DT

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
