Job description
Design Technology Teacher Required - January Start.

Protocol Education are currently looking to recruit a Secondary Design Technology specialising in RMT & Graphics who can deliver the curriculum up to KS5. This is an exciting opportunity, and we are on the search for an experienced, pro-active teacher who has a proven track record of raising attainment, and a passion for the subject specialism.

This role is long term position at an outstanding in all areas High School based in the borough of Harrow. The school have around 1500 students on roll and have just been rated exemplary behaviour by Ofsted. The school are dedicated to supporting their students in all areas for them to achieve their and reach full academic and personal potentials.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will obtain a vibrant approach to teaching and learning, with drive to ensure that students of all aptitudes and abilities reach and exceed their full academic and personal potentials. You will be expected to carry out all duties of that of a permanent member of staff including marking, faculty meetings, parent meetings etc.

• Have a minimum of 1-2 years previous experience delivering the national curriculum for Design Technology specialising in RMT & Graphics.
• QTS status or equivalent
• Be dedicated, reliable and committed to ensuring the success of students
• Be able to plan and execute interesting and exciting lessons
• A supportive leader and role model with outstanding team working skills
• Able to provide two recent school-based references
• Must have DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one
