Job description
Swindon Secondary Trained Resistant Materials Teacher required for September 2016

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a Swindon Secondary School, for an Outstanding Resistant Materials Teacher to start in September 2016. The role will initially run until July 2017, with the potential to become a permanent member of staff.

The school is located on the outskirts of Swindon and offers a supportive, friendly, motivated and ambitious team.

The ideal candidate will have a Resistant Materials specialism, although this is not essential. However you must have Resistant Materials experience. Additionally, you will need to be driven to succeed in maintaining the school's current attainment levels. You must be enthusiastic about teaching and passionate about your subject, with an in depth understanding and knowledge of the Design and Technology curriculum. Great references will strengthen your application. QTS and NQT's are welcome to apply.

You must be a fully qualified teacher, be able to offer 2 references and have a DBS registered on the update service or be willing to complete one.

To be successful for this role you must have:

•QTS and eligibility to work within the UK.

•Extensive subject knowledge.

•Strong interpersonal skills.

•Sound behaviour management.

•Fulfilling PPA requirements.
