Design & Technology Teacher
Location: Greenwich, London
Salary: £140 - £220 per day

The School
Located in the vibrant London borough of Greenwich, close to mainline stations and with easy access into Central London. Recently judged by Ofsted to be a 'Good' School this Academy has been through a period of massive development and improvement over the past 3 years. The school has been totally refurbished throughout and can boast a great learning environment in excellent facilities. The school has solid behaviour thanks to a consistent behaviour policy and students who are keen to achieve. Last year's GCSE results were the best the school has produced with over 55% achieving over A-C including the core subjects, the sixth form performed equally well and all in all this is a school on the up.

About the Role - Design & Technology Teacher
Design & Technology at this school is popular through all key stages. The school has invested heavily in the resources, equipment and teaching staff in the department in response to the uptake of the subject. Due to this demand this post is in addition to the established team. The school is looking for a teacher who is confident in their ability to teach good or better lessons on a regular basis. The school believes in ongoing professional development so a colleague who is keen to develop further would be best fit for this school. The role is suitable to an experienced teacher or an NQT as full development and/or an induction will be offered to either.
