On behalf of a thriving secondary school located in Walthamstow Protocol Education are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, passionate, and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher.
This post would be appropriate for teachers at all stages of their career including Early Career Teachers.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to inspire and enthuse the students and support the department with delivering an outstanding and enriched curriculum.
The successful Design and Technology Teacher must have the Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4 with the possibility of supporting Key Stage 5.
Ofsted rated this school as Good in 2019 due to their strong ethos, modern facilities and the professional development and support for both students and staff.
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you must have:
- The ability to work in collaboration with other members of staff to develop and manage projects
- Exceptional personal organisation and time-management skills
- The ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- An understanding of the key national and educational policies and curriculum
- The ability to inspire high achievement in young people from all backgrounds
- An excellent record of attendance and punctuality
