The Role

As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that develop creativity, technical skills and a love of design.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4

• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students

• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive

• Encouraging students to develop practical, creative and problem-solving skills

• Supporting students to achieve their full potential through hands-on learning experiences

• Contributing to extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities where appropriate

• Upholding safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

✅ UK QTS or be currently completing teacher training

✅ Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Design and Technology

✅ Excellent communication and classroom management skills

✅ A professional, proactive and flexible approach

✅ A genuine passion for education and supporting student success

✅ ECTs and experienced teachers are warmly encouraged to apply
