Job description
Deputy Nursery Manager

Nursery Nurse’s (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent preferred) with previous nursery setting experience as a Manager or a Deputy are required for a long term position within the largest independent nursery in Becontree, which is based in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.

The post will require support of children, aged 0-8 years within the nursery. You will need to be flexible, have enthusiasm, motivation, good communication skills and the ability to work with small groups on specific programmes if required. You will need to be an individual who could follow the nursery’s aim of providing high quality childcare in an inspiring, safe and secure environment. To help children achieve their full potential in all areas of development.

For this role it is important that you can deal with flexible working hours. Shift times can vary at this nursery and staff are often required to stay until 6pm. They are looking for someone who has a minimum of 6 months experience working with children, in a nursery/school setting is required.

Barking and Dagenham is a great location, conveniently located in North East London – 30 minutes from Central London.
