Job description
Deputy manager required for an outstanding nursery in the South Gloucestershire area.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who has room leader or senior experience and would like to take their career to the next level.

Hours: 40 hours over 5 days a week
Contract type: Long Term
Qualifications: Level 3 Essential

About the setting

This popular nursery on the outskirts of Bristol provides childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years. Learning through play underpins their ethos and they have a dedicated and professional team that inspires children's learning. The setting is rated Ofsted outstanding.

The role
An experienced practitioner is needed to lead and support in this busy setting, working alongside the room leaders and management team.
The successful applicant will:

•Have previous room leader, senior or deputy experience.
•Hold a Level 3 childcare qualification which is full and relevant.
•Be passionate and confident to work with children.
•Use their existing knowledge, experience and imagination to come up with new ideas and activities to engage children.
•Have great communication skills and will be able to build relationships with children, families and colleagues.
•Detailed knowledge and experience of the EYFS
•Able to communicate effectively at all levels
•To be able to demonstrate the ability to work and lead as part of a team


Desirable - Early Years Foundation Degree or equivalent
