Applications are now being accepted for a new Deputy Headteacher SEN position in a modern SEN Primary school in North Tyneside This is a great opportunity for a resourceful individual looking to join an exciting and forward thinking environment.

Deputy Headteacher SEN at a state-of-the-art SEN Primary school

Permanent, Full-Time position

This role would suit a compassionate experienced teacher looking to take on increased responsibility or a current hard working Deputy Headteacher who has more to offer. You should posses the ability to lead staff effectively day to day and teaching skills that are obviously outstanding . This post requires a senior leader who has the skills to inspire those around them to perform to their level and to try their best every day.

In this Deputy Headteacher SEN position you will be leading from the front as a key member of the SLT. While working in this role you will be discovering the fragility of the curriculum and what needs changing to improve those areas of the curriculum. Develop plans to implement school expenditure and keep within the strictures of the budget. You will need to help to define the teaching teams skills to meet the needs of the pupils and mentor closely under-performing teachers.

This school is a well-led and is a specialist school for pupils who are affected by multiple and sever learning disabilities, most of the pupils have been diagnosed with autism. This school has long been prolific amongst the local community, and now Ofsted have cemented its reputation with an 'Outstanding' grade.

This is a rare opportunity to work within a dynamic environment as a Deputy Headteacher SEN.
