Job description
January 2017 Start.

My client, a large mainstream secondary school in Leicester City, are currently seeking a teacher of resistant materials to commence teaching in January 2017. This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a school that has recently undergone a number of positive changes, and are now looking for passionate educators to help raise standards within the school.

You will be a qualified teacher of Design and Technology, ideally specialising in resistant materials however other specialisms may be considered depending on your individual experience. Strong behaviour management skills, a willingness to push standards forward, and also the ability to raise attainment are all an absolute must for this role. NQT's are encouraged to apply and you will be given the support needed in order to complete your NQT year.

To be successful for this role you must have:

•QTS and eligibility to work within the UK.

•Extensive subject knowledge.

•A genuine passion for your subject

•Ability to teacher to key stage 3 and 4 level

•Previous experience in an Outstanding school is desirable but not essential

•A good sense of humour is also desirable!
