Job description
Protocol Education are currently looking for a well experienced Nursery Manager around the Bicester, Oxfordshire area. To work as a nursery manager, you will need a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification in childcare plus around two years’ post-qualifying experience of working with children. Supervisory experience is essential.

Other relevant qualifications include: Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce foundation degree or HND in an early years related subject degree in early years, childcare, child development or related subject.

We are looking for someone who lives locally to Bicester or be willing to travel there on a daily basis. You will be a motivational leader, capable of inspiring your staff whilst providing the highest standard of care to your pupils. You will be an effective communicator, experienced in delivering feedback to parents and to staff members. You will be a passionate early year’s worker with exceptional organisation skills.

You will have a key role in planning and monitoring of the nursery and implementing essential policies and procedures. This will require creative thought together with an informed understanding of statutory requirements and best practice for childcare.

You must work to the Nurseries policy about Keeping Children Safe, Equal Opportunities, Data Protection and Confidentiality.

The successful candidate will need to understand and implement For under Fives policies and procedures (for example for Health and Safety) in relation to staff, buildings and resources.
