We are currently recruiting creative experienced teaching assistants from backgrounds that include music, art & acting to work within a secondary special needs school located in Wandsworth. This particular school caters to students with mild autism, speech & language difficulties and moderate learning difficulties. Due the needs of the students, class sizes are reduced and range from 8 - 10 students per class, providing you with the opportunity to deliver a more focused level of learning. As a teaching assistant you will have the opportunity to utilise your creative skills in lessons that include drama, music and art, supporting students on a one to one basis and working collaboratively with the class teams.

The role:
  • Working Monday to Friday - 8:30 - 15:30
  • Able to commit to a long-term role
  • Apply creative skills to students in lessons
  • Working towards the national curriculum
  • Differentiating the work to meet the students needs
  • Working as part of a team
