Creative Teaching Assistant

This role is tailored for individuals with a creative spark who can bring energy and innovation to the classroom while supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Your creativity will help students thrive by engaging them through sensory play, interactive activities, and fostering their development in areas such as social skills, independence, and communication.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Creating engaging, interactive activities that capture students’ attention and imagination.
• Supporting sensory integration and encouraging positive participation in the classroom.
• Assisting teachers in assessing pupils' progress and adapting approaches to meet their needs.
• Promoting a nurturing and inclusive environment in line with the school’s ethos and policies.
• Building strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure continuity in student support.

• Have experience working with children or young adults with SEND, such as autism, speech and language difficulties, physical disabilities, or severe learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
