Creative Teaching Assistant

You’ll play a key role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), using imaginative approaches such as sensory play and interactive learning to help students develop essential skills like communication, independence, and social interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, creative activities that inspire and captivate students.
• Support sensory development and encourage active participation in lessons.
• Work alongside teachers to monitor progress and tailor support to individual needs.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers to ensure consistent support for each child.

About You:
This role is well-suited to creative individuals who:

• Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND (e.g. autism, speech and language needs, physical disabilities, or complex learning difficulties).
• Are patient, empathetic, and adaptable, with a genuine desire to help learners succeed.
• Enjoy working in early years or primary settings where creativity and sensory learning are essential.
• Can use their artistic, musical, or dramatic skills to enhance the learning experience.
