We are currently recruiting creative individuals to provide classroom support for pupils in our specialist schools in Southwark. They pride themselves in developing both academic studies and life skills such as; shopping, cooking and working within the community. As part of the role you will be working 1:1 or lead small groups of learners with special needs such as autism and physical disabilities.

Main duties of the role
·Supporting students 1:1, encouraging a creative approach to learning from basic literacy and numeracy to arts and life and social skills.
·Building relationships with students and assessing their progression.
·Working 8.30am- 4pm weekdays in term time.

The schools are looking for someone who is open about working in special needs and is keen to develop their skills. As part of the role, we offer accredited CPD that include learning strategies, behaviour techniques and medical procedures. They also require applicants to be Adaptable, and able to work in a variety of settings, interested in working in different environments, committed and resilient.
