Protocol Education are currently recruiting special needs teaching assistants who come from creative backgrounds such as acting, dance, drama or music to work in one of our outstanding schools located in New Addington, Croydon. This particular school are looking for outgoing and interactive teaching assistants that can apply their skills within an educational setting. As a teaching assistant you will be supporting students on a one to one basis, encouraging students learning & development, engaging students through sensory techniques and teaching self confidence.

Responsibilities include:
  • Support students on a one to one basis
  • Assist the class teacher
  • Differentiate the work to meet the students needs
  • Managing students behaviour and wellbeing
  • Ensuring a positive learning environment and safeguarding is up held
  • Able to commit to a long-term role
  • Committed and resilient
