Protocol Education are currently recruiting learning support assistants from creative backgrounds such as acting, drama, musical backgrounds to work in an outstanding special needs college located in Southwark. As a teaching assistant you will encourage students development, support students with maths and english, support students in work programs and teach life skills to students with special needs such as autism, speech and language difficulties and severe learning disabilities. This particular school are looking for teaching assistant that can apply their creative skills within a specialist setting and maintain an engaged and fulfilling learning experience.

Main Duties:
  • Engaging students through interactive and creative sessions such as art, cooking and assisting students within the community
  • Supporting students with numeracy, literacy and life skills
  • Assist in work programs for students future pathways
  • Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
