Protocol Education are looking for creative & flexible teaching assistants from backgrounds that include; acting, dance, drama or musical backgrounds to work in some of our Primary Mainstream Schools in West Midlands and Shropshire area and the neighbouring boroughs. Our schools cater to special needs students aged that have a range of diagnosis that include; autism, severe learning disabilities, physical disabilities, visual/hearing impairments and speech and language difficulties.

As a teaching assistant you will be required to develop students hand eye coordination, speech & language skills, social/communication skills, speech and language skills, independence and cognitive processes. Taking part in creative lessons such as interactive stories & play, cooking, gardening art or music.

Main Duties:

·Engaging students through creative lessons such as art, song and dance
·Helping with sensory integration within the classroom
·Working as part of the team
·Assisting & developing pupils' levels and ability
·Working one to one & managing student's behaviours
