Are you a graduate looking to gain some more classroom based experience within secondary schools?

Are you building upon your experience in preparation to pursue a teacher training programme?

Are you an experienced cover supervisor or teaching assistant looking to broaden your experience with the areas leading education specialist agency?

Are you a youth worker or sports coach with experience supporting young people and would like to extend this into a classroom environment?

Protocol Education are seeking cover supervisors for daily, short term and long term assignment in Barnsley. The successful candidates will be confident and clear communicators, be committed to managing the classroom and pupil behaviour at all times and have a natural ability to enthuse and motivate young learners. A Cover Supervisor has to take responsibility for lessons when a permanent teacher is absent. The work you will need to deliver will already be set and your role will be to ensure the work is completed and to manage the student behaviour in line with the schools policy

The role entails delivering set work in line with school policies and supervising the classes. If you have a passion for educating, are innovative and committed to raising standards within schools then you could be the ideal person to become a Cover Supervisor.

The role will involve covering any and all areas of the national curriculum; therefore the right candidate will be someone who has a flexible approach to deal with the varying classroom environments within different departments.

It is essential that you are based in the UK with right to work. Due to the nature of this position it is essential all applicants hold or are willing to apply for an enhanced online DBS and are able to provide 2 referees.
