In the role of a Cover Supervisor, you are responsible for a class in the absence of their regular Teacher. You will take the register, ensure students are set the work that has been left for them and ensure that behaviour in the classroom is of the highest standards. You will be required to support the students, answer questions and offer advice on completing their work. You may need to address challenging behaviours and handle urgent issues with quick-thinking and professionalism.
Many schools are now using Cover Supervisors to lead classes in the event of short term absence. Now is a great time to register your interest in this new role.
Experience of leading groups of children would be an advantage but we are looking for people with a resilient personality who have a drive to succeed.
Applicants must have a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure or be willing to apply for a new one.
