Cover Supervisor

We are recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools in Sunderland. We are keen speak to anyone who has experience working with young people in a variety of fields. This is also a perfect opportunity for those who are hoping to build up experience in schools before applying for ITT/SCITT/PGCE courses.

It is important to note you don't have to be a qualified teacher to apply for this role. We would love to speak to you if you have experience working with young people in different environments, including; sport coaches, youth workers, health and social care. If you are seeking a new challenge this could be a perfect opportunity for you.
You will be responsible for the safety and behaviour management of the children in the class. Children will be aged between 11-16. You will ensure the class is on track with the work that has been set by the class teacher. You will cover classes across the curriculum. While you will cover a range of subjects you will not be required to have a specialism.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
