The Secondary team here at Protocol Education are looking for Cover Supervisors to work in several schools in North London including: Enfield,

A cover supervisors role involves the supervision of the class in the absence of the teacher. This includes doing the register, providing work sheets set by the outgoing teacher and adopting the behaviour policy of the school.

Factors that make a successful Cover Supervisor?

How well you engage with students.
Making sure you adopt the behaviour policy in line with the school's policy.
Discussing and debating texts with pupils and answering questions
Differentiating and allocating extension exercises.

The Secondary team work with a variety of schools in North London and whether you are looking for long term positions or short-term casual work we will be able to find something to suit you.

Please apply today if:

-You can provide at least two suitable references
-You hold a DBS registered to the update service (or are happy to apply for a DBS certificate)
-You are available for a minimum of 3 days per week
-You are available for at least 3 months

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
