Job description
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and self motivated Cover Supervisors to work in a range of schools across the Northumberland Area.

Working as a Cover Supervisor can be extremely rewarding but also very demanding. There is a high level of responsibility and although there is always a teacher close at hand if needed. As Cover Supervisor you will be required to cover short term and long term absences of teachers and other covers supervisors in ALL SUBJECTS.

What is a Cover Supervisor?

Cover Supervisors are usually graduates who have a degree within a curriculum subject and are looking to gain the valuable experience within a classroom setting. Alternatively they can be a qualified teacher looking to broaden their teaching spectrum.

If you are looking for a challenging, exciting and ever changing role then we need you. You must be educated to a Degree standard and have a minimum 6 week experience in working in a school setting for up to 5 days per week.

You should be able to offer 2 references covering the past 2 years, and have an enhanced DBS or be willing to complete one.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.0
