Protocol Education are proud partners of a school within Stockton On Tees who require cover supervisors for a range of day to day duties.
The school has a huge requirement for staff on a day to day basis and for the right candidates this can lead to work on a long term basis.

You will need to be available for a minimum 3 days per week and be available to work between the hours of 8:30am to 3:45pm . Shift patterns will generally be either 8:30-3:15pm or 9:00am- 3:45pm.

Ideally you will have experience working with children between the ages of 11-16 years but full training is provided.
Essentials for this role are that you have confidence to stand up in a classroom and supervise students, be engaged with students and be able to think on your feet and be flexible to the schools requirements .


Duties of a Cover supervisor are ;

supervising work that has been set in accordance with the school policy
managing the behaviour of pupils while they are undertaking this work to ensure a constructive environment
responding to any questions from pupils about process and procedures
dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school's policies and procedures
collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher
reporting back as appropriate using the school's agreed referral procedures on the behaviour of pupils during the class, and any issues arising
