Cover Supervisor – Performing Arts and Drama backgrounds

Have you recently graduated in performing arts and drama ?

Are you interested in a career in teaching or using your performance skills to work with children?

What will you do?
You will be working in schools in Sunderland as a cover supervisor. This means that you will cover the class in the absence of the teacher. All the work will be planned and set for you by the class teacher. You will be responsible for the safety and behaviour management of the children in the class. Children will be aged between 11-16. You will ensure the class is on track with the work that has been set by the class teacher. You will cover classes across the curriculum.
Why do we want you?
Drama and performing arts graduates are known to be confident in front of large groups of people. Your previous training means that you have the presence that is needed to captivate a classroom of teenagers. You are able to think on your feet and can reshape or adjust to situations well.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
