Are you a committed and passionate Cover Supervisor / Secondary Cover Supervisor?

Protocol is currently recruiting for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of amazing secondary schools based in the Sunderland area. The posts are initially full-time, fixed-term supply roles until the end of the school year, with the potential of leading to a permanent contract for the right Cover Supervisors / Secondary Cover Supervisors.

Key responsibilities:

  • Cover a variety of subjects by providing students with materials previously prepared by class teachers (you will not be expected to deliver nor plan lessons).
  • Successfully manage the behaviour of the class following the schools' behaviour policies.
  • Foster positive relationships with students by being a role model and ensure students are on task.
  • Work collaboratively with the cover manager and the rest of the team to ensure the smooth running of the school day in the absence of class teachers.
  • Act as an ambassador for Protocol Education by being punctual and professional at all times.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
