Protocol Education are recruiting for cover supervisors to work in schools across Newcastle and the surrounding areas.
As a cover supervisor you will cover the class in the absence of the teacher. All the work will be planned and set for you by the class teacher. You will be responsible for the safety and behaviour management of the children in the class. Children will be aged between 11-16. You will ensure the class is on track with the work that has been set by the class teacher. You will cover classes across the curriculum.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone considering applying for a PGCE, SCITT/ITT course over the next few years. Working a cover supervisor gives you experience in the classroom, helping to build up your behaviour management skills so you can really hit the ground running when you begin your teacher training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
