Protocol Education are looking for flexible and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors for our Secondary schools in The Wandsworth and Kingston Areas.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will gain a lot of experience in other aspects of education you may be interested in – such as working with smaller intervention groups with children who may require catch-up support, working with SEN children or coaching in schools. You will go into schools and cover lessons that have work fully set and planned, ready for your arrival. The role of a Cover Supervisor is to support a mixture of classes during the absence of the regular class teacher. Although you will not be teaching, ensuring the pupils are kept on task is most important, so good classroom management is a must.
We are looking for flexible candidates who are looking for both daily and long-term cover supply on both full and part basis. If you like variety and can travel to different schools everyday, then this role could be perfect for you.
You must demonstrate:
• Confidence in classroom management
• Excellent general subject knowledge and a passion for education
• Flexibility, resilience, and excellent organisational skills
As a Cover Supervisor you will require the following:
• Over 6 months experience within an educational environment
• Good communication skills
• The ability to cover a variety of subjects
• A good knowledge of the National Curriculum
• A passion for teaching and a desire to make a difference

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
