Cover Supervisor – Sheffield

We are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and supporting students’ learning in the absence of their regular teacher.

The Role:

• Supervise classes and deliver pre-set work across a range of subjects
• Maintain a positive and focused learning environment
• Support students with their learning and encourage engagement
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A confident, patient, and supportive approach
• Ability to motivate and engage students
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
