Love working with young people? Confident standing in front of a class? Looking for flexible work that fits around your life, or perhaps your first step into teaching?
This could be just the opportunity you've been waiting for.
We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Worksop. Whether you're an aspiring teacher, a recent graduate, an experienced educator, or someone with fantastic transferable skills, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll step into classrooms when teachers are absent, keeping learning on track, encouraging positive behaviour and helping students make the most of their day. No lesson planning. No late-night marking. Just the chance to make a real difference every time you walk through the school gates.
Every day brings something different, but you can expect to:
You don't necessarily need to have worked in a school before.
We're keen to hear from people who have experience working with young people through coaching, tutoring, youth work, mentoring, sports, performing arts, customer service, or leadership roles.
You'll ideally have:
Previous classroom experience is welcomed but not essential.
Great Cover Supervisors do far more than simply "keep an eye on the class."
You're the reassuring face that keeps lessons running smoothly, builds students' confidence and helps schools maintain consistency when teachers are away. Your support means learning doesn't stop, even on the busiest days.
It's a role that's rewarding, varied and brilliant experience if you're considering teacher training in the future.
We're not about ticking boxes or sending you somewhere that doesn't suit you.
We take the time to understand what you're looking for, whether that's flexible work around university, building classroom experience before teacher training, or finding a long-term opportunity.
With Protocol Education you'll benefit from:
Many of our Cover Supervisors go on to complete teacher training or secure long-term teaching roles.
If you're exploring a career in education, this is one of the best ways to gain valuable classroom experience, develop your confidence and discover what type of school suits you best.
If you're ready for a role that's flexible, rewarding and genuinely makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply today and one of our friendly consultants will be in touch to chat through the opportunities available in your area.
Your next classroom could be just around the corner. Let's find it together.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
