No two days are the same!
As the school's Cover Supervisor, you'll be responsible for maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are absent, ensuring students remain engaged, motivated, and on task.
• Supervising lessons across KS3 and KS4 using pre-planned lesson materials
• Managing classroom behaviour confidently and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Supporting students to complete their work and achieve their full potential
• Building positive relationships with students and staff across the school
• Promoting high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
• Becoming a trusted and valued member of the wider school team
✔ Has experience working with young people in education, coaching, youth work, mentoring, care, tutoring, or similar settings
✔ Is confident leading a classroom independently
✔ Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
✔ Is calm, adaptable, and able to think on their feet
✔ Builds positive relationships quickly and inspires confidence in young people
✔ Has a genuine passion for education and supporting students to succeed
