We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work within secondary schools across Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced Teaching Assistants, or individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience within education.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring learning continues during teacher absences by supervising lessons and maintaining a positive, productive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects

• Supervising classes and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning

• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Encouraging participation and supporting students to complete set work

• Recording attendance and reporting any concerns to teaching staff

• Building positive relationships with students and staff

• Upholding safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

✅ Confidence managing groups of young people in a classroom environment

✅ Excellent organisational and behaviour management skills

✅ A proactive, flexible and professional approach

✅ Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)

✅ A genuine passion for education and supporting student success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
