Cover Supervisor

We’re looking for confident, adaptable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Telford on a daily supply basis. No two days are the same, one day you could be covering English in a lively Year 8 class, the next supporting a calm and focused GCSE group. Perfect if you enjoy variety and like being kept on your toes.

Whether you’re building experience ahead of teacher training, looking for flexible school work, or already an experienced Cover Supervisor wanting regular bookings, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Keeping students engaged, focused and learning throughout the day
• Managing behaviour calmly and confidently
• Creating a positive classroom atmosphere, even when the teacher’s away
• Becoming a reliable, familiar face in local secondary schools

What we’re looking for

• Experience working with young people, ideally within schools or similar settings
• Confidence managing a classroom environment
• A calm, approachable and professional attitude
• Strong communication and adaptability
• Someone who can hit the ground running and enjoy the variety of daily supply work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
