Have you got experience teaching dance classes, leading sports lessons, coaching, youth work or tutoring? Have you supported children or adults with SEND? Would you like to work in local Sunderland secondary schools? Would you like the option of flexible working?
Have you considered working as a cover supervisor?
As a cover supervisor you can have the flexibility to pick the days you want to be available for work, and you can enjoy positive interactions where you help students to fulfil their potential (without having to plan, mark or assess any of their work!)

A cover supervisor is responsible for covering the class in the absence of the teacher. You will deliver a pre-planned lesson, monitor class behaviour and report any safeguarding concerns. You will support teaching staff and students by providing classroom cover, implementing set work, monitoring students and providing lesson/student feedback to teaching staff in schools across Sunderland.

It is important to note this is not a teaching role. We will consider candidates form a range of backgrounds if they can demonstrate they have the transferable skills required to work as a cover supervisor. Free training will be provided.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see for further details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
