Job description
As a Science Teacher do you want to join a PRU where, regardless of background, the very highest social and academic standards are an everyday expectation for their pupils?

Will you have the ability to push your students to gain the very best GCSE results possible giving them the very best opportunity in life possible?

From June or September 2016 this PRU based in Bromley would like to employ a Science Teacher on a full time permanent or temporary basis.

As the new Science Teacher you will be pleased to know the PRU aims to enhance each pupil on an academic and social level in a safe and exciting environment offering national curriculum subjects in order to increase employability opportunities for school leavers. This PRU is part of the exclusion service which means the students have been permanent excluded, refused to go to school, failed to get a school place or put themselves at risk of exclusion.

About the Role

You will have the responsibility of enhancing the learning experience of your students through the use of the department's vast resources and support available to you.

Person Specification

The right candidate will be an experienced Science Teacher who has worked with SEN pupils before or a Science Teacher wishing to make a transition into SEN teaching. The school wants to see a Science Teacher who has the motivational skills to get the best out of those around them, staff and Students alike. As the new Science Teacher you will have the drive to manage behaviour well in class and design interesting, interactive and challenging lessons for the group at hand.
