Protocol are looking for well-qualified computer science specialist, with a commitment to continuing professional development, to join a schools computing team. The post is suitable for either an Early Career Entry Teacher who wishes to enter the profession in a school where the quality of education is outstanding or a more experienced practitioner.

The successful candidate will be required to teach computer science up to and including A Level. Computing is a highly valued part of the school’s curriculum and examination results are strong. Facilities are regularly updated to incorporate the latest operating systems and there is a firm commitment to embracing new technologies. Computing is part of the Business Studies/Computing faculty which is located in its own suite of rooms. Staff are extremely supportive of each other and firmly committed to high achievement for all.


The successful candidate will:

• Be a strong classroom teacher with a real commitment to high quality teaching and learning.

• Be able to enthuse, engage and motivate students

• Be a reflective practitioner and always be willing to improve

• Be a strong team player

• Be willing to be involved in the extra-curricular life of the school

• Ability to teach A’ Level English Literature or English Language is desirable.
